Advocacy for LGBTQIA+ Folx
Survivor Support and Community Training
Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) does not discriminate. One in four LGBTQIA+ folx have reported experiencing some type of IPV in their lifetime and there are unique barriers to accessing services. WC&S strives to connect with the community to provide intersectional, accessible, and competent care for LGBTQIA+ survivors. LGBTQIA+ folx have access to all of WC&S’ free and confidential services, including individual support.
Individual counseling provides a safe space for queer/trans survivors and people who are still in their abusive relationship. Topics can include developing coping skills, boundary setting, and understanding issues of power and control.
You are not alone in your safety and healing journeys. Contact our hotline to be connected with services.

WC&S is also available to provide training to interested community partners on the experiences of queer/trans survivors of IPV. Program partners have included universities, non-profits, medical staff, and other community partners who offer services to the queer/trans community. To discuss training options, please contact us.
